Parental leave

Paternity leave (aka “your partner gives birth”)

• For: Any employee whose partner is having a baby.
• Duration: Up to 4 weeks of paid leave, plus up to 4 weeks of unpaid extended leave.
• Conditions: Leave can be taken at any time from 1 month prior to birth to 12 months after birth.

Maternity leave

• For: Any employee who gives birth.
• Duration: Up to 16 weeks of paid leave, plus up to 4 weeks of unpaid extended leave.
• Conditions: Leave can be taken any time from 1 month prior to birth to 12 months after birth.

Adoption leave

For employees adopting a child: we’ll handle this case-by-case. Speak with HR please and we’ll work out something reasonable, also considering the age of the child.
